Adventures in DLP HD

We bought our super awesome HD TV a few years ago. At the time, Plasma was still somewhat new and LCD wasn’t available in larger sizes. So, we went with a DLP. The quality is amazing but it uses a lamp. Like any lamp, it will burn out eventually. I’m confident we got more life out of the original lamp than I ever thought we would and it finally burned out last night.

I was fortunate enough to find a place in Lansing that sold the replacement bulbs so I went out and got one. Here were the steps, in pictures, that I followed. Super easy. 15 minutes and our 3 year old TV’s display is just as magnificent as it was on Day 1!

MSU Small Animals Day

So, Natalie and I (Jeff) went to MSU’s Small Animals Day with Grandpa, Grandma, Denny, Josh and Jenna and we had a great time! It was pretty cold but luckily a lot of the activities and things to see were indoors. Natalie absolutely loved seeing the day old chicks and turkeys and her other favorite was getting to pet a baby pig. She might even be in the newspaper!

Here is a short video and all of the pictures can be seen here: http://natalie.jeffandjill.com
